Thanks to Humanities Texas, the Social Studies department at the high school has rented a traveling museum exhibit that will be on display for the month of February. The exhibit is called "Images of Valor: U.S. Latinos and Latinas of World War II" and is in English and Spanish. Everyone is invited to view the exhibit and learn about the contributions of Latinos and Latinas on the homefront and overseas during WWII.
The girls and boys powerlifting teams competed at the Perrin Whitt Invitational on Saturday January 30th. We took 13 total lifters and 9 walked away with medals. CLick on article title for more information.
Kelsey Doster & Kourtney Kelly Doster competed at the District 7-5A Swimming and Diving Championships Jan 28. Kourtney Kelly finished 10th in the 100 Yard Backstroke and Kelsey finished 4th in the 100 yard Butterfly, advancing her to the Regional 2-5A Swimming and Diving Championships Feb 5.
